Not sure about sound blocking. I use noise when I need distraction from what's outside.

Light blocking shades, and curtains are good. Also film on the windows can help. Eye covers let some light through, and can be uncomfortable. A dark blanket over the top of your face may block light well, you could also consider a baby blanket, some are filled and will block light well. If worst comes to worst I use a pillow.

If noise from outside is a problem, a square of foam against your window should act as an insulator. You could try wax or foam earplugs, but do some research first to make sure they're not going to damage your ears being left in so long. If it's a specific noise that's the problem, rather than just noise in general, you could play some music over headphones or through your computer. Youtube has many videos of sleep-inducing music that are many hours long. Eye masks and heavy blankets do well to block out light. I like the idea of a Pieplup mask :)

Only thing that works for me is a fan with a lower pitch that blocks out noise. It has to be a real fan, not noise machine. I can't wear ear plugs because they are too uncomfortable.

Really heavy room darkening blinds/ curtains work well for light. Masks would drive me crazy to wear, but a nice soft one might be ok if the strap was soft too. I am terrible with falling asleep, even with extra help.

That pokemon mask looks good but the elastic might be uncomfortable if not covered with soft fabric.

I run an air filter that drowns out a lot of noises. It also helps with allergy issues.

The Piplup mask is pretty cute, and it actually looks like it would be relatively simple to make. You wouldn't even need a sewing machine.
