The word "Shocking:" in a news story is a pretty good signal it's bogus.

So I read it anyway. Question: how did Isaac Newton get hold of transgenic foods? How about General McClellan? Einstein?

Seems somewhat unlikely to me. I might also direct you to a section of his Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Mer ... ontroversy) and to also do a Google search of him. He has made many claims which are, at best, considered unlikely by the scientific community, and, at worst, downright lies. He has also been warned several times by the FDA to stop making false claims, particularly in relation to the products he sells. In short, not a terribly trustworthy guy.

I'm not sure what's worse - this "doctors'" claim or the very bizzare one I came across last week on another forum. Apparently, if you "suck up water" through your nose, your Autism is cured. :roll:

If he claims it's food related, can he then explain why if you have siblings who were brought up the same way, why don't they all have Autism too?
