Quote:"We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered. - Tom Stoppard" I feel as we progress through life does it matter what we encounter, the important thing is to learn ...and grow, decipher the right information.!
I was listening to the radio today and it implied there are simply to many irrelevant choices in the world i.e. 50 choices of pink nail vanishes, so how on earth can we use our brains productively, when often full of advertising and irrelevant crap. So another positive being a spectrum-wise individual removing ourselve...s for the world generally can help us focus on important issues.
Too much unimprotant information out there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Parado ... re_Is_Less
I agree "The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less" time for individuals to live, not over consume, as it must be cheaper to have one brilliant product, than many irrelevant ones...

I agree, narrowing your options is often a great way to really make some headway in life. I've spent too much time scattering myself so thinly over many pursuits. Now, I try to keep a couple of primary pursuits and a few more secondaries.
Of course the reverse is also sometimes true, expanding our horizons is also a necessary part of life, especially when we've dug ourselves into deep dark ruts. Balance is the key.
