I can't speak for neurotypical brains, but I don't find your experience to be all that unusual (except for the yelling and the perception of vocal resonance - but after all, by your own admission you were very, very high). That's one of the major reasons I've always found eye contact uncomfortable - it often feels like people are trying to look into my mind, and it's very intrusive, almost a sort of psychic rape. That, and once the contact is made, it's difficult to break and awkward knowing even when one should break it, and once it's over I've been so distracted by the discomfort of the experience, I have no idea what was just said to me.

I don't discount your experience, I try to retain a healthy skepticism about everything, yet I live by Shakespeare's comment that there are (to paraphrase) "more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in our philosophies". OTOH don't let it overwhelm you, or read more into the experience than it deserves. You were baked, after all. :P

Quote:
I had a similar experience with another friend. his eyes looked blacked out, and he looked like he had fangs. i told him, and he was so scared he rushed outta the room and went home.

Okay, now you've lost me. I've done my share of chemical experimentation, but even on Psylocybin shrooms I was more rational than that. Perhaps Rehab would be in order. At least chain yourself to the bedpost in case you turn into a werewolf.

I was able to hallucinate on pot. I remember one time doing the old stare at yourself in the mirror thing and watching my face morph. I was also able to stare at a blank wall and see the same sort of images I see behind my eyes when I'm in an alpha state. It's funny how some are uncomfortable with eye contact because it's distracting and some because if feels like they can read your innermost thoughts. I was never able to hold eye contact long enough to have anything like you did happen.

"I was taking drugs and I saw weird things! Is this normal?"

Yes.

No.
Just more susceptible to tripping mad.
Which is what this is.
End.
