Well, I usually obsess over The Beatles, Pixies, and Talking Heads.....soooo
No. Not for me anyway. I can't stand most modern pop nowadays. Although I have to admit to liking Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga  LOL. Hey, they have really neat voices, OK? :P
I also have a girl crush on Beyonce, although I just like her not really her music so much

Whats amazing is that its live on TV! Very bold move,,,,,I dont think many bands did that back then. Pretty kick ass performance

For me, it's like 90% '80s music, some techno thrown in for good measure, some country/western, ragtime jazz/calypso, and the remainder is stuff from the '50s-'70s, and a tiny, tiny bit of '90s.

nearly all music from the dawn of recorded sound, up to the early 80s, with a few isolated tracks to the present day. oh, and novelty tunes/songs especially. but in general, no new rock, country, jazz or urban contemporary [rap/hiphop and variants].

Strange... I assumed you were obsessed with the Beatles' "I am the Walrus".
(for years, I thought that I was the walrus, or at least the eggman, or the eggmen? or Semolina Pilchard? boy... you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe...)

It is my favourite Beatles song. That song opened me to the Beatles, because I never really liked them until I discovered that song.
I used IamTheWalrus as a nick on an online game and it stuck to me, hence the obsession.

the people in the first two videos look like they have a combined age of maybe 30. you think they created the music??? sorry it is harsh but i can't stand music as firstly a money making opportunity, it tarnishes any creativity.
