I was just wondering if anyone else has family members with an autism or aspergers diagnosis. Most of my family members (on both my mothers and fathers side) have autism or aspergers. Three of my four of my grandparents had traits of aspergers but were never diagnosed, and most of their kids (my mom, dad, uncles and one of my aunts) are diagnosed or have traits. My little brother have diagnosed PDD-NOS and my big brother may have aspergers (He is a lot like me). I know it is genetic but does it usually affect such a large part of a family?

I only know of three generations - my family had never heard about it before I found out about it and then it was just like a domino effect - and the rest are dead. They're all on my father's side of the family:
My grandfather, one uncle, my father, and me.
There's most likely more, but I'm not close with a lot of them.
