I made up my own language and my parents thought I was communicating with aliens. I never really believed in them that much.

I used to tell people that I didn't have a gender, because I was an alien, when I was little.

I was convinced my whole family were monsters or aliens or something, they were all wearing masks and would all rip them off at the same moment, thus explaining their bizarre and nonsensical behavior.

I always maintained that the race of beings I really belong to would descend from the stars and take me back to my real home planet. I still do actually.

You never know; it could happen. Anyone remember the series Roswell?

I used to insist I was an elf. That's the old-fashioned version of aliens. I had a whole fantasy world I made up about it. I got called delusional for it and after that it became a symbol of resistance against my involuntary psychiatric treatment to keep insisting. I also said I had telepathic contact with beings from the stars that had put me on earth to study humanity (I almost believed that for awhile thanks to a reaction to psych drugs but deep down I knew it was only wishful thinking).

I used to believe (& still kind of do) that my life is just someone else's dream, or that it's my dream & when the "real" me wakes up, I'll be totally different & wondering why I had such a long dream. Scenes from the "Matrix" movies reminded me of it.

But even though I didn't believe I was actually an alien from another planet, I was always obsessed with aliens & the paranormal & spent a portion of my childhood being afraid I was going to be abducted by aliens because of it.

I have always felt like I should be from another planet, though, which is why I love the name of this site so much.

I thought I was a "changeling" like the old faerie myths. The Faeries must have left me and took the human child my mom had.

Maybe I didn't have fantasies of this kind in the exact sense when I was a child but I did like to fantasise from time to time (though it was rather in my teenagehood and later) that aliens arrived on Earth, taking me with them. I could be about 10 when once I read in a tabloid about the Molgan genes the carriers of which were of alien origin. This bold thesis was followed by a set of questions checking if you could be one of them :D

Here: http://tinyurl.com/3y9gl4a

I'd so much love to be an alien - a Molganite or any other kind of alien :D Only not such an alien from Melmac because I like kitties and not a Predator like one because this race had such ugly muzzles when they took their masgues off :x Out of all extraterrestrials, I'd prefer to be a member of the Celestials or Watchers :D

But if I found out I was an extraterrestrial changeling indeed then, I wouldn't be VERY surprised, it would explain a lot. Later I fell in love with the esoteric concept of the old souls and indigo children.

I was always facinated by aliens. I highly the creator of Invader Zim has AS or at least would be diagnosed with it if he were a child today. If he ever came out and said he does have AS, it would not suprize me.

Irulan can you please fix those long links? They make the entire page unreadable.
