Has anyone experienced anything like this ?

Often when really tired – felling quite weak and a bit wobbly as if the slightest thing would knock me over. Looking out of a hotel / office window onto traffic and the bustle of people below. I can sense the movement of each individual car and it’s like I can feel them moving in my head. Similiarly if I am in one of my tired states and am out in a busy street, my vision goes really strange like lines and perspective all bend and squash like I am inside some strange computer game. If there are loads of people going to and fro I feel like I am dragged in a humdred directions by each person.
Not sure how odd this makes me but for many years I have been fascinated by trees and how they move and dance in the wind ! Puts me in a kind of trance as the sensation is so lovely I am in heaven, especially at this time of year.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this ?

Also does anyone else feel or hear music as some kind of shape or movement ? If so I would love to hear from you.

Wow... you're making me kind of envious here!

Is it just a feeling or does it feel like that is reality? Like the difference between almost fainting and seeing things that you know are distorted and you know - seeing things.

I guess the strangest thing I have felt in that direction is that I sounds I commonly hear I hear even when they are not happening. I have to change my alarms on my phone so that I don't hear them randomly. It's not like having a song in your head. I actually hear it. I guess it is common though.

Neil, i sometimes have the experience of my vision tunneling, where someone i am looking at "moves farther away" and becomes very small, as if someone is elongating the room. similar or no?

also i read your post on the "i hear music" thread or similar and i wanted to mention that there are lots of buried threads here on various types of synesthesia. i know this because i often use the search bar above to look for particular topics of interest.

Yasmine, i also used to "pick out" my phone's ring in any similar sound, i was so trained to hear it. finally i changed it to a song. i don't know if that's common or not.

i try to resist the urge to talk about these things IRL after so many years of getting blank stares in reponse ..

I have experience something similar, where the patterns of movement of tree branches, cars, people, shadows on the ground, people walking, all make a sort of music. I can feel it so strongly sometimes. If I knew how to write notation I could write it down. It's like my mind just starts reading music out of the patterns. Its such an intense experience its hard to describe. If you have every played drums, or gone skiing, its similar to the feeling of those experiences lingering even after you have stopped, or how you can still feel the waves of the ocean even after you leave the water. Its like sometimes I just get caught up in all the patterns of movement. Its a very strange to me.

thanks everyone for responding.
Devark, Katzefrau, I haven't experienced either of those things. hearing music from visual stimulus sounds extremely creative, is it a nice feeling or not?
thanks for the tip about the other threads, I will have a look.
Yasmine, it does feel real, but it's not an extreme distortion, more of an impression like being on mild drugs I suppose and it's usually when very tired. Usually statis objects and building look normal, it's normally when I am walking or there are people and cars moving about.

Yes.
I feel "movement" in my brain all the time, and it creates "traffic jams" and makes it hard to navigate, and I get sensory overload.
It's like things in the environment, especially movement, form electric ripples in my brain. Sounds also do this... If I'm outside all day, it gets painful and I can barely use my brain to think anymore!

I don't need a similar sound for it to happen. I guess my brain gets stuck in a loop or something.
