GARS and GADS tests

Has anyone had a parent fill out the GARS or GADS as part of a diagnosis? I'm diagnosed, but I went through 4 hours of neuropsych testing and these tests were part of it. On the GARS, my mom circled mostly 1s, some 2s, and a few 3s. On the GADS, she circled mostly 2s and 3s. Does anyone know if this will come back as "autism" or "Asperger's" or neither?

GARS and GADS stands for what?

I did a few questionairs for each child both for ASDs and ADHD, so did their teachers. I think they may be the ones you mention but I need to hear the full name to jog my memory. One was an Australian thingy.

Each child has more than one teacher but I chose the one who seemed to understand and like each child the best. I don't remember how it was for Eldest son as it was a while ago (other than the psych said it was one of the clearest diagnoses she'd ever seen), but Middle son was tested recently. Both his teacher and I scored him pretty high for AS, though I didn't realize it as I was doing it. I was just trying to be as honest as possible. Interestingly his teacher scored him higher for AS than I did, probably because she sees him around crowds of kids and I see him when he's most comfortable and relaxed.

GARS (2) = Gilliam Autism Rating Scale, second edition.

GADS = Gilliam Asperger's Disorder Scale.

When I was diagnosed as an older teenager, my parents filled out the GADS form as applied to me when I was younger.

I can't say anything the 1s, 2s, and 3s, because I don't remember what the scale meant. I've looked at the form my parents filled out, but that was several years ago.
