Most people like when spring starts coming in and I do like the warmer weather (not hot), but the longer days seem to bother me. Especially when it is sunny. Some of this is due to the fact that it is noisier because the kids in the neighborhood are outside longer. Then my kids friends want to hang around and I can't stand that. I know it doesn't sound nice (LOL), but having a group of kids over just grates my nerves. I dislike the use of any medication, but am wondering if I'm going to need to start taking some Xanax again because it isn't even summer yet. I'm really opposed to doing that though. Does anyone else get this way in the spring and summer?

I find the transition from Winter to Summer very difficult. I like the Rain to such an extent, that I thrive on it. I have a hard time handling the longer days, because of the Neighbourhood Kids and their unruley misschief, as I'm very stodgy for a 31 year old Canadian. I don't do well in the Heat. My Scheual falls apart. I do more chores in the Fall, Spring and Winter months, when everybody else is working. My Mom takes over the chores, in the Summer. I should see that as an opportunity to obsess over my Favourite Red Bus, more often, but I see it as Chore Theft, instead. I do love my Mom, though. There is one good thing about Summer. The 3:00 PM Dinners that my Mom's accustomed to, are moved to 6:00 PM, and that suits my Hunger Patterns.

I LOVE the rain. Unless there is lightning I usually try and go out in it. Otherwise I still like to watch the storms from inside - provided the house isn't in danger of flying away. That doesn't get to happen in the winter so there is some excitement about that with the warmer weather. I also don't tolerate the heat well or like to sit out in the sun. I almost feel like hiding in the afternoons in the summer. My internal schedule seems to get changed to - I've been staying up until 4 and 5 in the morning trying to fall asleep since we changed for Daylight Savings Time here.

My race prefers a dark and damp environment. We also cannot abide the warmth of flame. So we much prefer winter months, yes.
