ADHD Meds and Tics

Okay. So, i was on Ritalin for awhile and started to develop these tics(well, i think they're tics) where i sort of twitch and usually turn my head to the right side rapidly. I don't know whether the Ritalin caused them or not, but since i know that it can cause tics and make them worse i decided to stop taking it. It doesn't bother me much, but i don't want them to get worse. I still have the tics just as bad since i stopped taking it, also. I did feel like i had more energy and drive to get things done on it, though... I was just wondering if there are any ADHD drugs that don't have the side effect of making tics worse? Has anyone else had issues with ADHD medication causing or worsening tics?

Yes, I was on Ritalin and then Concerta and I started having facial tics. It started when I was under extreme stress anyway. I started blinking about twice a second and then my right cheek would grimace. I went off and they went away after about a month. At one point if I did something with my lips it would repeat but slowly. I still feel a tremor in my right cheek occasionally.
