i understand wrong planet is gonna be closing down......im sorry to the site go but i understand alex and others who help manage the site have other things to persue in there life

I hope it is not a joke, but we can not expect Alex to devote his life to wrong planet, i am sure he has many other desires/goals in his life that he will eventualy go to. It would be nice if he could find someone who could take over from him though so that the site could keep going.

We're actually working harder and harder to add more features and content to the website. We have 4200 members now!

WrongPlanet is far from ended. There are those of us who don't pay much attention to the drama or bickering. This is a wonderful AS community, in my opinion, so I'm not going anywhere.

Personally, I hope WP stays around for a while. Regardless of the bickering and power struggles, the site is a valuable resource.

Did anyone else here get a weird email about wrongplanet ending? It was supposedly from Alex but said derogatory things about him, so I assume it was actually from someone else?

A mass email was sent out by persons unknown. If was basically derogatory toward Alex. I do not know what has become of the matter since.

I am glad I have not given out my email address.
WrongPlanet has helped me very much since I was diagnosed with HFA. Also afterwards since I have been going through a nasty bit of depression.
I also met GalileoAce because of WP. I would be very sad if it were to shut down.
