I'm not 100% sure, but, I've noticed in the past year or 2, as I've been getting older, I'venoticed things getting wors, for example, New Sensory etc.., also not understanding things that I'm pretty sure I would have had understood before. So, basically asking, does Aspergers / Autism show up more as you get older?

Anyways, Thank You for reading.

DRJ.

Usually it lessens. Maybe you're just getting senile.

It depends on the situation. If you've grown, it lessens but if you haven't it does get worse.

I was looking for some information on this website and saw this article. It is long and I didn't read the whole thing but it seems to discuss what you are asking about.

Perhaps due to newly aquired self knowledge, or a burst of new maturity, you are just becoming more aware of your peculiarities? I know I have.

I've also noticed that I show different symptoms now than I did when I was younger. I have learnt to do some things "the NT way", but I guess the effort has made other AS traits to show even more. :?
