don't think this is related to AS, but does anyone else here hide stuff?
i almost had a panic attack(started to lose focus, heartbeating rapidly) as i hid something valuable and forgot where i hid it! found it in the end though!
like if i'm going out without my car, i'll hide my car keys somewhere-just in case i get burgled!

That and..."trace back your steps" are the two most illogical and irritating sayings I here from people. If anyone in the world could trace back their steps we'd never lose anything, and of course it's always the last place you look, where else would it be if it wasn't the last place you looked?!

I hide stuff all the time usally remmebering were though. For instance I hide money in my car for emergecies, and around the house, I have spare keys to everything hid all over also. I don't realy worry about the burgler part I have a very large dog which keeps most people away. Somtimes I do forget then when I find it its like extra money. Atfer my Grandfather died my brother and grandmother going though his stuff found over 3000USD hidden in various places in his stuff 100 here 200 there.

I have the exact same problem - I lose things in plain sight and it just irritates me to no end - I think I have a poltergiest that hides things for short periods of time and then puts them back to make me feel stupid . . .

It's happened to me before.

Sometimes I hide things in hope of forgetting about them and finding them later.

I'm worse at losing things though.

I absolutely have to hide my stuff. If I leave anything lying around, my parents throw it in the trash the second they see it. As a result, the surface of my desk is always empty, save for my computer, while my drawers* are stuffed to capacity with things I value.

* I was referring to the ones in the desk, not the ones you wear.

I use to hide my stuff, but i have found if you leave things in plain site, often people will not see them.

I still hide my more babish stuff though, only a few (read: one) of my freinds knows about it all.
