I got a new laptop and am obsessive about trying to get Itunes running! My parents hate when I get super focused there view is OMG there's more than just Itunes and your computer to mess with!! (They don't understand the getting focused on pone specific thing) :-( Anyone sometimes feel this way? Thanks

I sometimes forget to eat because I get so focused in what I am doing. I have gone to bed late in the past, showered late because I was too busy on the computer.

My husband once had to make me some dinner because I hadn't eaten all day because I was so busy online. I don't want to be that way for my kids. Sometimes I worry I might forget to feed the baby or something when I ever have one. But my mom says it won't happen because it won't let me forget, it be crying and you can't ignore their cries.

((((hugs/if you like hugs)))))

I think everybody gets sick of being themselves sometimes and wishes they could be different regardless of their neurological status.

I think I dislike being an aspie a lot more often than I like it. But most of the time I'm indifferent.

I love being an aspie. I love my quirks and my kinks. :D

This kind of stuff dosen't make me hate being Aspie, it makes me hate the ignorance of others. Though, actually, NTs get focused on one thing sometimes too, it isn't exclusively Aspie. I guess your mum just sees a properly working computer as insignificant for some reason
