Not that I know of. I didn't have to get my blood taken in order to get a diagnosis. :?

I've never heard of anyone having blood taken to test for Autism of any kind, or any other neurological disorder for that matter. Did they discover any alien DNA? :P

No blood test was done for my diagnosis. If they are testing your blood for it. Go to a different doctor. If they are testing your blood to verify it's not somethign else. then OK.

I give blood at the community blood bank all the time. It doesn't bother me. I just look away during the stabbing.

Good idea to always ask medical professionals plenty of "whys" and "hows"
dont be afraid to show that the quality of service they provide is being paid close attention to!
