I've been under a lot of stress lately, school and thinking about college and everything, and apart from the physical symptoms I also get lazy, short-tempered, apathetic, and strangely, egotistical...:S
Why is that? Particularly the egotistical bit. I've noticed lately I've been just angry about everything, and feeling like I'm better than other people, and just couldn't be screwed to do anything, but could own it all if I tried. I also talk about myself more and actually BRAG. :S This is so very unlike me. How does the stress cause that? It's making me feel like a narcissist.

Stress is a natural condition, mostly used in fight or flight situations, but you have to relax afterwards. If you don't take the time to relax, you can have mental and physical problems as you describe and they can get worse. I've been stressed all my life that eventually got to a depression.

Take time for yourself, and only yourself, do something you like doing.
And probably the best anti-stress is (for me and probably most people) exercise, take a walk, run, cycle, whatever you like, do it everyday, it clears your mind and you get tired and your body relaxes itself. It worked for me and I'm absolutely not 'athlete of the year'.

Your mind and body are inseparable, healthy mind, healthy body and vice versa.

i can relate. it's really just an anxiety thing, you feel like you can't appreciate other people because you set this standard for them, or rather, your anxiety sets the standard.

Myers-Briggs personality test methology believes that under stress we become our shadow selves, while manifesting more of our darkness. I.E. an INFP can become an ESTJ...

Go gluten free, you'll feel more balanced mentally and physically.

Avoid processed food too.

Gluten, milk, processed food(MSG) are all bad for people who have aspergers, autism, ADD, depression ect.

Interesting about the shadow theory. Not sure if it's true. I seem to be a mild ESTJ, lacking the good aspects. I think my dad is an ESTJ, lol.

You're lucky, my dad/sister is like my mirror image. They're ESFPs while I'm a INTJ. Needless to say, they're both extroverted and love the company of others - always 'forcing' me to be social

Oh sorry, I meant my shadow figure was an ESTJ. So my dad is my opposite, I dislike spending time with him. I retook the test and did some research, and it seems I'm more leaning towards being an INTP now, though.

Not true at all, what do you think man ate before milk and gluten? Think about it.

80% of the world is milk intolerant. So that's easily a no no, it's bad for everyone.

Just eat meat, vegetables, fruits, nuts, gluten free grains(buckwheat, rice, quiona, sorghum).

You're another person who has been taught that gluten/grains is important, it's not.

Eat less carbs, eat more vegies nuts and meat. Easy.

You'll fee more healthy mentally and physically. I gurantee you won't have stomache pains and all the crap Austistics get from gluten/milk.

It's bad s**t, Autism is caused by food, not only genetics.

You're another person who makes assumptions without knowing a person. I never made a statement that gluten/grains are important.
