on face book Alex plank just sent me a friend request. i dont know whether to accept it or i ve generally been trying to maintaina poilicy of only adding people i actually know but i dont know if i should make this exception what are your thoughts?

i would make an exception here. Alex has done great things for the A/AS community, i think he would make a great addition to your FP profile, remember, there is a one on one chat feature on FB.

I just sent him friend request. As for you, I suppose it would depend on why you only add people you really know. Personally I'll add anybody, and I don't put anything on that I wouldn't care if the whole world knew anyways.

Im going to go against the grain here and say you should stick to your rules. I think It's important to have set rules for the internet and if you compromise this time you will eventually find yourself with a whole bunch of people you dont know.
You made that rule for a reason, stick to it.

Hope I dont get banned for saying that lol...no offense Alex!
