Keep in mind, checks and balances still exist. Just because you are aspie doesn't mean you can cure cancer from you nothing. If we could somehow suspend the constitution, I would do a lot of good. But eh, I can't so wont.
At age 16 you wouldn't have enough grasp on politics to know the incredible fallout that would come from suspending the constitution. That's why you have to be at least 25 to run for congress and at least 35 to run for president.
My biggest interest is history, so lets not insult my intelligence on this matter and in general. Please.

I'm not insulting your intelligence.
I'm a huge history buff too and I was raised to be politically savvy, but at 16 there is no way I could have learned enough history, and more importantly seen and experienced enough current events and have enough real-life experience to understand the full weight of a decision like suspending the constitution. By the time you have spent a decade as a tax-paying, voting adult I'm sure you will be a force to be reckoned with in a political discussion.
I'm going to have to side with Ferdinand. Not that I agree with suspending the constitution of course, but as someone with AS, I had a lot more sense at 16 than most people at 35.
When I was 16 the country was in the middle of a sub-prime rate loan economic boom. I had a 4th grade math level at the time and it was still entirely obvious to me that it was a bad idea to loan giant sums money to people with $40,000 a year incomes so they could buy a boat, car, and $500,000 house.
I foresaw the wake of destruction upon the tides of greed that was the new economy.
Pitty the world doesn't listen to 16 year old girls!
