Lately I've really wanted to do imaginative play. I play with my stuffed animals and I have a whole story line that me and my boyfriend discuss and talk about and play. When I was little i did not do imaginative play. I had a doll house, but I mostly pressed the buttons on the furniture to make the music play. My mom said that it is healthy for me to get into it, and that it is okay to. what do you guys think?

I think that's totally awesome. Don't be a rat in a maze designed by somebody else - press the button get a food pellet. Make your own maze. Or just run free.

You could write down your stories and match them with photos or animations and turn them into a book. Put it out there. What's the difference between success and failure in the market? Often it comes down to luck. But you've got to be in the market to get lucky.

If you're 19 years old and people ask what do you do in your spare time and you answer "I play with my stuffed animals" then that's probably the end of an awkward conversation. But if you answer "I'm an aspiring childrens book author" then it's sort of the same thing, but totally different to the other person.
