Cant stick with something very long/like things "fresh&

Well, its time once again to format my PC and start from scratch. I have never been able to stick with one OS for very long, ive dabbled in Ubuntu, put up with XP and even tried the new windows 7.

I am going to be out of commision for a few hours i am upgrading from windows 7 to windows 2000! it goes unsupported next month, so if i want the updates i had better keep it for a while.

windows 2000 is the EXACT same codebase as windows XP, 99% of the drivers are interchangable, and it has a whole heap less clutter.

my only issue is that the ipod touch is not supported of win2k, but there are workarounds out there,

Ouch! Good luck with that.

Windows is NOTORIOUS for not allowing a downgrade from a newer system to an older one. I've known some folks to render their PC's useless trying, forced to reformat their hard drives, starting over and losing every file they have.

Like I said. "Good luck with that." Hope you do better than that.

As before when I first signed up here years ago, I'm finding that after a long hiatus, and after only a few days back on here, I'm spending way too much time here again already.
