was anyone else diagnose with macrocephaly as a kid,

Also called macrocephalia and megalocephaly, macrocephaly is diagnosed when the circumference of the head is more than two standard deviations above average for the child's age, sex, race, and period of gestation. The fontanelle (soft spot) of the newborn is wide, but facial features are usually normal. Macrocephaly is distinguished from hydrocephalus in that there is no increase in pressure within the head; however, hydrocephalus can result in macrocephaly in some children. The disorder can result from a defect in formation during the embryonic stage, as a result of certain degenerative diseases, as a part of various genetic syndromes, or as an inherited family trait. Mental deficiency, seizures, and movement disorders are common in macrocephalic children.

Your head does look larger but you don't look sick to me. I know an infant's head is roughly 1/3 the size of the body. I know someone's who's son's head was noticeably larger, but his head was larger at the sides. The last time I saw him he was about 4 and it looked like his body had caught up with his head. I knew someone with a daughter who's head at 1 seemed too much in proportion to her body. It made her seem like a tiny adult.

You look like a normal happy baby with a long face. You should post a picture of your face as an adult. How much has your face changed since you were little?

Hey CockneyRebel, did your mother ever get back stage at a Kinks concert 35 years ago? 8) I can now see how you claim to look like the drummer from the Kinks.

I hardly ever went to the Dr. as a kid. But my son was diagnosed with it and he is autistic.

This is him next to a another child of the same age:Image

I've never heard I was diagosed with anything like that but I do have a big head and a massive fohead. Everybody says they can't tell but I have a really hard time finding hats. My kids all had big heads at birth and still do, but again, no Dr has ever slapped a label on it.
