Does anyone else get angry when salespeople try to help you when you are shopping? I always shop with my headphones on- ie LEAVE ME ALONE- so I don't wanna have to tell these people "I'm just looking" or "I'm okay" or whatever. I find myself wanting to snap at them half the time!

if i notice someone walking toward me at the shops, i put my hand up in a "halt" motion (like a traffic cop) and sy "no thanks", and continue walking.
if they continue to approach me, i say "i am not interested in anything except what i intend to get, and i know where it is" (or equivalent eg: "i am just here to get what i want thanks").

i have said that to people who see me leave my keys on the counter and follow me to give them back to me. then i say "sorry. thanks".

I sometimes feel like my tone is rude towards these people. But wow, you are bold!

As soon as I see sales reps, walking towards me, I sneak out of the store, as fast as I can. I don't handle that stuff, as well as you guys do.

What gets me is after you find what you want, you can't find one to ring up your purchase. I'm talking about department stores, not places with checkout lines.
