No! I hate when people ask me this. Because I get bullied a lot, people assume I want to go on a shooting spree or something. It irritates me, and I get asked it so often.

Who else gets asked this or feels this is rude?

When I was in high school, I got everything from "Do you carry an oozy in your back pack?" to "Are you a devil worshipper?" I think this was amplified because of my tendency to wear dark colors. Especially black.

It was somewhat irritating, but at the same time I found myself chuckling at their ignorance.

About a year ago, people at work pick on me and when i didnt say anything back they would say, "One of these days you're going to shoot up the place, huh?" However since I have been working retail for about 4 years I have gotten so much better at defending myself verbally with jokes and comebacks.

Yeah, I got the "Devil Worshipper" thing too. Probably because I brought D&D books to school and use to read them during class.

And yes I did want to blow up my school but, fortunately I never did.

One time I came to school after shaving my head. Some black kid follows me around the school and before long he's asking me why I hate black people and jews. I come to school with a Godsmack shirt on, everyone asks me why I hate god. If I paced around my front porch my neighbor used to tell me to get a hobby so I didn't look like I was plotting out shooting up a McDonalds. You can never get away from people having negative questions.

It never gets old, honestly I started to like it when I was 14. I'd rather be dangerous than one of them sheep of the flock.

I got the "why do you hate god" question, too. I thought it was pretty funny. All I said was "you first have to believe in a god to hate him".

I don't even remember what I said, I probably tried to ignore it most of the time. No point in recruiting inferior humans to believe the superior belief (or more appropriately lack of one).

I always would tell people I would never believe in a god that accepted them as a follwer. If he accepting of you he has set the bar prretty low.

its just human nature, everyone is supposed to conform according to most NT principles/values.

Ive gotten the remarks made to me constantly, and almost wasnt allowed to graduate and had a false police report filed against me as well because of it. And yeah, I used to wear dark colours alot which would have had something to do with it but still. I proved them asshats wrong by going to my graduation and doing absolutely nothing.

As for the false police report. Someone sees me whittling away at a piece of wood whle sitting in the park. They see a reddish stain on my pants leg and always have to assume the worst. So some idiot had to phone the police stating I stabbed someone when in reality I nicked my finger pretty damn deep. As for who called the cops, I found out who it was and played some really mean pranks on them for a while. And this incident was around 5-6 years ago. And said pranks mostly involved fake blood and drawing pentagrams on the persons property with it.

Ive already gotten the looks like hes gonna shoot someone remarks back when I used to work too. So I decided to humor them down the road. Brought in a squirt gun, filled it with red dye and sprayed the person who made the remarks first with it. even better was the fact it was designed and painted to look like a beretta .45 cal pistol, minus the red barrel cap thing.

But yeah, people in general always try to find something to fear every moment of their damn lives, then have to treat people like s**t because they think they will do something. That and the fact society views bullying victims as the problem in the damn world anymore, Its gotten to the point that I may just support whoever shoots up their school or whatever next just to prove a point. The point being that if it was indeed the bully that got shot, he absolutely deserved it because he was too much of an a****** to live. So yeah, hearing about this kind of stuff always brings about very strong memories of negative experiences ive had. So yeah in turn that makes me really wish humankind great deals of harm, so whatever :/

I hope this doesn't blossom into another religious debate... 8O

To answer the OP's question, why yes I have! People used to always think I would be the sort of person to do that. It frustrated me to no end! I'd try to make friends and people wouldn't want anything to do with me because they thought I would be the next Columbine Shooter, or something. As a result, I continued to be a loner and the cycle perpetuated.

Gee, if you don't want me to be the 'creepy loner' then why don't you take the initiative?! :wall:
