Hello, I am new to this group and I am having a difficult time getting services set up for my child. My child will now be rotating between NY and AL every year per the new custody arrangement. He has a para-professional in NY, and various other services. He was tested in AL in 2008, and they stated he was not Autistic, however when he goes back to NY, he is. Even if he does get the diagnosis in AL, the State Dept of Education has no services for Aspergers/PDD children. I have been told there are no comparable services, therefore he will get none. I have talked to many National as well as State agencies, and every time the answer is no. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.....

you might want to try posting this in the parents' forum.
