Things like Encyclopedia Dramatica (search for aspie). I know a lot of people find it offensive, but I find it pretty funny. You have to be able to laugh at yourself, after all. I think it's perfectly acceptable, just like making fun of blacks, gays, etc. is acceptable (not sarcasm).

I am sure linking directly to the site is against the rules, but suggesting where to go to see it is not, I guess.

I find it funny too.

I can't say it's the funniest kind of humour. Much of the humour on there is quite immature...

I found the Encyclopaedia Dramatica thing, read it, and felt nothing. I didn't feel insulted, but it didn't make me smile either. I thought it was rather crass, really.

I don't mind being teased by someone who knows me well enough to understand what it is they're parodying.

So far all the so-called satirical pieces I've seen that mention AS are clearly written by people with no real knowledge of the disorder, based on stereotypes and laced with hatred for anyone different. Apparently its too 'PC' sensitive now to ridicule people by race, ethnicity or national origin, but its perfectly okay to say ugly things about the 'mentally ill', 'cause those ret*ds are too stupid to know you're makin' fun of 'em. Huhuhuh.

I've read that article before, and honestly, I find it rather crass and insulting.

I think that some humor making fun of aspies is funny. Things that point out or exaggerate our unusual behaviors, like that "Aspergers High" video someone posted awhile back. Things like the Encyclopedia Dramatica article i don't find funny at all. Like Willard said, it looks like people who don't even know that much about it in the first place just trying to say the most offensive things they can think of. It's not satirical, it's just random insults. Uncyclopedia is kind of funny, though.. Their Asperger's article is kind of stupid(not as bad as ED's.. but it's still doesn't make much sense as "satire"), but they also have a "neurotypical disorder" article and some other related articles that are good.

I had to smirk at that, I know I'm immature.

Autism jokes never bothered me so I don't get why people get insulted by them. But however if it was done by someone on the spectrum, they find it funny.

I like the articles on Unicyclopedia and some others. ED is just stupid.

I like that YouTube video about a sushi joint, for people on the spectrum, to eat at. I'll post it tomorrow, if I can find it.
