Hi folks first time long time........I get nervous in public places. When I get nervous...sometimes my bowels release uncontrolably.....this is not funny. I don't leave the house....I don't speak to people.....I can't even hire a prostitute. My life is a prison and I feel like a rat in a cage.

I had a date once and I got so nervous I needed to run to the bathroom and masturbate. I know this is wrong and I tried not to do it....I am ashamed of myself and this is where the trouble begins. I try not to get mad at myself, but that never works. When I fail at controlling myself I get even madder and want to choke someone.....HAHA I don't really go choke them, but I might follow them around for a while.

How am I ever going to get my first real kiss? I want to be kissed back like in the movies and not have to run up to a girl and kiss her hard and run away.

When I wake up sometimes I have blood on my lips. I thought it was from the humidity, but it looks like I am biting my lips again.

Don't feel bad about it, I also have the problem of getting unusually nervous when I don't want to. My way of dealing with it is: before you go to somewhere that makes you nervous decide what exactly are you going to do in the place and concentrate on it (i.e. I'm going to do a speech before people and all that I'm going to think about is saying the words of the speech). It helps me sometimes. Or, you can try drinking water.

I feel your pain, though not to exactly the same degree. I went to a friends graduation party last year, and when it started to fill up with people I didn't know, I freaked out. Sweating profusely, pacing around. So don't worry about it.

I do too. That goes hand in hand with me speaking in public.

Public speaking is not so much of a big deal if the speech is prepared and I have lots of rehearsals on my own before hand. Then I am rather just talking at them rather than to them. But I completely freak out at having to give an impromptu speech or any informal debate in real time. That really puts me on the spot. I certainly hate any form of public speaking that involves having to answer questions. I have not got the verbal imagination to handle it.

Maybe i could give you a tip.
Drink a can of red bull before going out.
It wil make you feel more confortable around people.
It also makes your contact with others much easyer and you can reply faster.

It's not something that wil all of a sudden solve all your problems.
But it might ease them a fair bit.

I understand that you shouldn't worry about public speaking if it's being prepared in advance, but why would you go crazy if you had to give an impromptu speech? Honestly, it's your words.

I know exactly what you mean. It has nothing to do with public speaking. I get nervous even if I am not expected to speak. It's the crowd of people all around me sufficating me. It's all those eyes on me! Its horrible!

Now, I understand where you're coming from.
