I'm usually more social in dreams.
But also I've had quite a few dreams where I'm actually more aspie, in my waking life I'm mild AS but in some dreams I become moderate or worse.

Given the nature of dreams, it's hard to say, but I have noticed this.

In life, I have a hard time feeling anything for anything or even expressing most emotions.

In my dreams, I am utterly uninhibited in experiencing emotion and expressing it. I can cry, feel gratitude, show affection, etc.

I'm usually the exact opposite in dreams, strange.

I'm almost always alone in dreams and don't interact with people (except when I find myself having sex and I don't have nearly enough of those dreams).

I'm more on the social side when it comes to being in dreams but I'm always myself though but less awkward.

Can't really tell. My dream life is very different to my waking life. I have very few conversations, but I meet a lot of kind happy people in my dreams.

In my dreams there is a definate lack of other people. Even in my dreams I am lonely.

I'm me in my dreams. The only people I talk to in my dreams are ones I know pretty well in real life. Or else I am running/whatever around randomly or possibly talking with non-humans (animals, dragons, etc.) I don't really recognize whether or not I'm autistic in my dreams. I'm very disconnected in them.

In my dreams, I tend to have no ASD symptoms at all. Usually I am a hero of some sort that is simply made of awesome. No character weaknesses for the most part, but they all share something in common. They can have some sociopathic tendencies.

In my dreams, which I have some control over most of the time, the only thing I've ever changed about myself is my hair colour.

So yes, all my dreams with me in them have me as my usual autistic self.

Bear in mind I don't know WHAT I am...

But I act the same way in my dreams (basically) as I do IRL. What changes is how others respond to me. Either people tend to be more receptive of me as I am, more on my wavelength (which in turn emboldens me and allows me to go to lengths I wouldn't IRL), or MORE opposed and likely to be mean and argue or put me down. I suppose it's a reflection of how I'm feeling about myself and those around me, at that time.

I'm very much like I am in waking life except I tend to get into nasty, violent fights in my dreams. Most of my idiosyncrasies are the same except in my dreams I rarely notice symptoms of OCD which is such a relief.

In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance.

Oh my gosh. This quote fits perfectly.

How is it simple? I don't understand what being autistic in a dream even means, versus not being autistic.

I think if there are things you do not do like socialize or communicate or play sports in real life because of your autism that you do in your dreams, then you are not autistic in them.
