I'm not a little kid

So why do i always feel like a little kid? And why when i want to learn something, i always approach it like a little kid? And why do people assume i still live with my parents? Or require a parent to go help me buy something?

I want to seek out an entomology forum to get help in regards going this direction in regards a career. But the way i want to ask my questions (the only way that would help me make sense of it and ensure i get answers i can make sense of) i'm worried i might make myself come across as a 15yr old :-/

If that's the best way for you to get the answers you want, I see nothing wrong with it.

Trump has taken throwing temper tantrums to a high art. I don't know how----but he sometimes gets results acting like a baby.

You just have to show them that you are more self-reliant than that. I mean show them, not tell them.

This is just workplace-type banter.
