You guys. I am off my routine and having such a whack day. Although truthfully maybe all of my days are whack, but with my routine I don't really notice it as much.
Here's the story:
I'm cat sitting. And housesitting. I haven't brought much of my stuff over. But that's really beside the point. I have everything I need for today. But I didn't make my normal tea with the right tea cup this morning so I was never able to have that experience so i've been distracted all day. And so on.

It's not about the tea cup. I mean, it is, but it's not. It's all of it. My routine. Same things, same sequence, same placement. That is what I like. Without it I can barely move forward.

Do you know what I mean?? I haven't even brushed my teeth. Although I did bathe and dress. It could for sure be worse. And I have been relatively productive with my work, so there's that. I mean, it's not all bad.

BUT I MISS MY ROUTINE. My god. I should never do irregular things again for the rest of my life.

I certainly understand. I get disordered if I have to change my routine -- can't eat the usual thing at the usual time, or have to go somewhere I don't usually go. It's not that I can't, but rather that it imposes so much cognitive load that I get distracted from my usual contemplations of the universe, or whatever I would normally be doing. :D

So I'll do both , congratulations on dealing with change
commiserations on a day of change

I'm very stubborn when it comes to change and never realised till recently , I never knew why I felt the way I did if there was change , something wasn't right but I couldn't put my finger on it , things just felt wrong.

I get pissed off if there's something out of schedule for me.
