Do other people here naturally tend to say "Ow!" and/or flinch when they are intently concentrating on something and make a mistake--like when playing a video game or trying to fix something tiny?

I do, but I'm not around other people when I do these kind of things, so nobody has observed me do this. I think some would find it odd, though. I wonder if it's an aspie thing or just something people do in general.

People have remarked on my tendency to press computer keys hard when the computer doesn't do something I expect/wish it to do--it's as though part of my brain thinks that if I press the key lightly and it reacts too slow, then really mashing on the key will make it go faster, and the more logical part of my brain doesn't override that response. People also have noticed me "lean with my tongue" when trying to do difficult physical things with my hands, and want something to move in a particular direction.

I've watched kids doing that, while playing video games. Their character takes a blow, and than they say, "Ouch!" It's quite funny to watch, at times.

I do it if I so much as touch something or bump against it unintentionally. Its as automatic as answering a question with "I dunno."

Same here. I say ow to practically any unexpected contact no matter how light, and sometimes even if the contact doesn't actually occur.

I only say ow if it hurts my computer character, or the device I am working on. I do flinch, dodge and push harder on my game controls when I am into a game. The reaction feels the same emotionally, but without the physical pain I feel when I poke myself, or get scratched.
