I don't even have the energy to write down all the stuff I cant deal with right now. for the first time in my life I have health insurance so starting therapy for first time. I payed the $30 copay at my first therapy visit and was supposed to return and discuss medications next time. then I got the bill. I disputed, but just got the results today with a rider from Blue care Network as to all the mental health things they do not cover (almost everything). Apparently they wont cover it until deductible is met. Even just the $30 dollars was a hardship. It is a s good as nothing.

I maxed out my 500 dollar credit card yesterday to buy healthy groceries, and my husband has 6000 dollars in the bank which he is using for his own stuff. My daughter ate a bowl of cereal and a donut today and apparently the other one ate the entire bag of oranges. (there are peels over the entire house and the bag is empty).

I got it in the mail and went inside to see the mess my kids made while my husband "watched" them (slept) while I worked. I have always had a very hard time keeping on task to clean my house, but have been making an effort, and it was clean when I left. I want a divorce so bad, and would be better off. I am so mad I cant speak.

I broke a glass against the wall when I read the insurance rider.

I'm sorry things are so bad for you right now. I don't really have any advice to offer, just wanted to offer some moral support.

Go for a really big walk. Go for a few walks. Get help from a womans shelter or whatever is available to you. Take heart that things can improve, if allowed to

I really hope that your situation improves, and keep in mind, that you're not the first or the last woman, who is going through this. I'm sorry about the things, that you're going through. It must be tough. Here's a hug :O)

I am so sorry...please PM or email me anytime if you need to vent or talk...I am going through something similar and sometimes feel at my wits end too...Letting my NT husband handle our finances has left us with 8-10USD some weeks TO EAT!! ! While I did it I was a witch, but we had it all...now we have nothing because of him being so lazy when it comes to finances and everything else...sometimes I feel like just running away and disappearing...I know how you feel...

Hugs to you...please know you are not alone...email me anytime you just want to vent...

Oh dear. This is horrible. I would say that maybe hubby is just as exhausted as you though! I used to be the kid who ate all the bread though, instead of all the oranges. Good thing it was oranges, eating that much bread is bad for you. This really sucks, insurance companies are so stressful. And for them to not walk you through what is covered is pretty bad. Hopefully your doctor can do something to help you while you're in this financial crunch. The $30 co-pay should show you're trying your best and doing what you can, but I can only hope your doctor is caring and can understand.

I sincerely hope your situation improves and doesn't leave you empty handed, hearted, and empty-housed. These kind of things really cause disasters for families, and you gotta try to stick together through these things, even when you feel distant from each other because of the mess.

*hugs*

Well... I think it is your husband's responsibility to pay for the family's food and needs. He has money in the bank you and you and the kids are struggling, this is not right. If you can get him to cough up money to pay for things in some way, try to do so. If you make money yourself, don't give him free access to it if he cannot keep track of it.

I am divorced. My now-ex never had a job and spent everything I made and more, in addition to borrowing from other people. He still doesn't have a job years later. He did everything possible (lying, threatening, physical violence) to get money from me to spend on who knows what, overdrawing our accounts routinely, while I worked and paid all the bills and worried about how to get by from one month to the next and struggle against his expensive tastes. This was not the only problem but it was a big one. I left him when I was pregnant. Thank God I did. Without him there I was more than able to take care of my son and myself and recovered mentally as well. Our issues did not originate with money. But when there are other issues the person refuses to work on and they are not responsible sometimes that becomes a big problem. Anyway... try to help yourself, your kids. If your husband won't do his job then you have to do what you can, even if it means away from him until he steps up and takes responsibility, if he is likely to do so.

I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this. You should talk to your therapist and see if he or she will accept a reduced payment until the deductible is met. I've had luck doing that in the past.
