I do this constantly. I look at what I've written and wonder if I am thread crapping or thread stealing or just plain being preachy. I try to word it differently, and then decide to trash the whole post.

I've done that, many times. If my post looks really stupid, I press the ← button, and I don't bother to post it.

Don't worry, you aren't the only one. I wanted to make a post about peppermint oil but then realized this wasn't a migraine forum.

Id have double my post count in every forum i frequent if i didnt stop and say thats stupid.

Yeah, a lot of times putting something to words takes more effort than I have to give (if that makes any sense?), so I just hit backspace and forget about it.

Sometimes. Especially if I review what I was going to post and see that it's redundant.

constantly, across all written communication. i can't get the thoughts to have an acceptable flow, sometimes. so i just scrap it and try again some other time.

I do it sometimes. But once in a while I'll post anyway, piss someone off, and then come back thinking it would have been better not to.
