Its Sunday night, i work first thing in the morning, ive had all weekend off and im not at all mentally prepared for the week ahead. Satuday was a nightmare, trying to get my shopping done, went to a movie, which sucked, and got home just to find that i had bought the wrong memory card for my psp.

Sunday was ok. Church was great, as usual, but i sat home all afternoon, it was grey and cloudy all day, didnt even turn the tv on until after 4. I was trying to relax, but with the weight of the upcoming week on my head, it didnt work.

I would say im falling into a rut, but, i never really came out of the last one. Im just tired of living, but i dont have any desire, or motivation to stop living.

Its been five years since i graduated high school, i have accomplished nothing. One of my classmates organized the biggest music festival my town has ever had, another was on tv for raising 100 grand for cancer research. During high school, my folks loved to tell me that after HS, the people like me would be in jobs ordering around the bullies. In reality, the bullies have gone on to do great things, and the ones who havent, come into the store as customers and give me crap knowing i cant do a thing about it.

If not for my various commitments, i would pull up stakes and go live on the road, be nomadic. When i got tired of one place, i would move on, not sit here bored almost to death.

Ugh, I know how you feel.

Do you have any special interests to help you deal with the boredom of the mundane?

my special interest is bus travel, a six day cross country greyhound trip kinda conflicts with work, and my bank account.

Can you perhaps imagine yourself in a little better situation two years from now? Three years from now? Maybe even saving a little here and there to take that bus trip across the country in three years?

I hope you get where you want in life and can do great things!

I know how you feel (Well I don't, but I know the situation... no wait, I don't know that either.. but.... sigh). I can get really sad thinking of what little I done in life. It really can be hard.. just getting by. For some reason a lot of "us" have great potential yet great obstacles.

Bleh.

Wishing you a good week.

I don't go there - or at least only rarely and briefly - but my wife knows it well. Not fun.

Helps to be busy [even if it can feel futile] and helps to pull attention away from all those others. Fact is, if you knew the WHOLE truth, their glories are not as big as thdey look - everybodu gets the Greener grass other side the fence syndrome.

Not sure if it'll help, but whenever I'm in the doldrums, I just click on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random and let my imagination go wild. (There's no better way to find a new special interest, IMO.)

Have you ever thought about traveling with a circus? I did that for a while many years ago and loved it. I would suggest a small "mud show" if any still exist. Or, there are outfits like "Circus Pages" that are small troupes going out on tour. The last I knew, there is a "clown school" in Sarasota, Florida, and I am sure it would not take much effort to find out how to get in touch with the large shows. Life on the road with other people who do not all speak English can be challenging, but that just might beat sitting and waiting for some opportunity to come looking for you!
