Was I wrong is it my AS kicking in?
So, the story is, Sunday I saw an ad on craigslist for a set of "blue import bucket seats" for 25 dollars for the set. I saw the picture and contacted the guy immediately, I drive 45 miles to get them and come to find they were seats from an Acura GSR, for those that do not know, these are sportier, more comfortable seats than the stock units. The only problem with these was on the driver's side there was about a 2 inch tear where people get in and out. I looked them over and paid the guy. Now, I have seen the same exact seats go for upwards of 300 dollars per set on eBay and even craigslist. On one hand I am stoked over this amazing deal, but I am starting to feel like I ripped the guy off, however, he did say he bought them at a flea market for much cheaper and have been taking up space in his basement for 2 years.
Why do I feel so guilty?

Probably because you knew, and didn't tell him? If you didn't find out until afterward, I would say there's no reason to feel guilty. If you did know, that's not your Asperger's kicking in. It's your conscience.
Up to you whether you want to do anything about it. They do say, "Buyer beware," but that can, and should apply to sellers too. It's not exactly your fault the guy didn't do his research, and you DID travel out of your way, use up your time to go get them. He got the price he wanted. If he's happy, I wouldn't be too bothered by it. Besides, there's no guarantee you would get top dollar for them anyway. For all you know he already tried to sell them for a lot more, and couldn't. It doesn't really matter what they are listed for on the Web. A lot of sites pump up the prices anyway. I wouldn't go by that. The only thing that matters is what people actually pay.

So I'm requesting my account be locked, banned or whatever. It's just time. Until then, well, I dunno...
As far as knowing before hand, I kinda had an idea, but the picture he had did not really show much detail, I was only sure of what they were when I got down there. I checked eBay afterwards to make sure what I had was what I suspected I had... And I was right...

If they're torn and are that old that they were first at a flea market and then in his basement, chances are that the 300$ ones are new and in pristine condition, and the ones he sold you weren't worth near as much. Usually things like that don't sell for anywhere close to their value if they are beat up at all.
(think of taking a first edition collector's toy out of the box: Suddenly it's only worth pennies to serious people).

It's not your fault, period. The price he sets is HIS business. It's not the job of the buyer to tell him "Hey, these are worth a lot more than you're selling them for...." That wouldn't make any sense.
All true. Don't sweat it. He's happy, and you got some decent seats.
Are you an Acura aficionado? My bf is--his favorite is the Legend.

Actually, I have a 1996 Civic, the stock seats are like park benches compared to the GSR seats

Meh. Don't worry about it. The guy said he paid less for them when he got em. He still made a profit.
A similar bargain I got:
I bought two 12" Infinity house speakers from a garage sale for $1 each. They retailed for 500+ each when they were new. After 100 bucks to get them re-foamed (poly cones, not paper) they were as good as new.

Wow, that is a great deal. One deal I got was a set of 4 Acura Integra special edition wheels( sunflower wheels) for 70 bucks. I repainted them flat black and they look good with chrome lug nuts. I also got a killer deal on a head unit, Sony Xplod( the model was discontinued) with a USB port so I can play music from a flash drive, for 60 bucks( mint in box with all paper work, connectors and even the remote with an extra set of batteries)...

Here is an even greater story.
The residents in and around Owerton, Kentucky have a large community garage sale every year. While many of the things at such sales are only receiving a temporary reprieve from the trash dumpster, there are some nice nuggets. Some nicer than others.
Greg Estes bought the bike Floyd Landis rode in the 2007 Leadville 100 for $5. While some people I know wouldn’t even pay that much for something Floyd owned, the bike would retail for about $8,000.
Apparently, the bike was found on the interstate by a state worker. There are no reports indicating that it was stolen, so Estes looks like he’ll get to keep it. Or flip it for a nice profit.

That makes a very good point.
