Do you like watching fire as much as you like watching flowing water, and for the same reasons?

I love to watch fire. I remember when my parents got a fireplace, put into the first house that I lived in. I would watch the flames, for hours.

If watching fire was AS trait, all the Rammstein would be Aspies

I like watching fire, it's really fascinating. I like sulphur smell too

Maybe I'd enjoy observing fire for anything other than 1 second, otherwise I'd get bored with it. It's a beautiful thing though and it has been SO helpful to us all for these millions of years. :)

I like watching fire much more than I like watching flowing water. I've no idea why. :)

Prefer water but do watch fire longer because I have to make it happen. Both offer zen experience

Ditto. That, or candles, or even a single candle.

Yes, ever constant yet always changing. I could watch both water and fire a long time.

I am both a fire and a water watcher. I find it helps clear the mind and relax me.

Same here, and at least partly because I like getting in the water.

I like watching both though I can become more detached from my surroundings and much more quickly when watching fire.

I love watching fire... I get so absorbed by the appearance of birthday candles that I completely zone out. In my second birthday video, I was so zoned out that I had no idea that I was supposed to blow out the candles. Relatives found it humorous, which I do today. Waxy cake, it was.

I tend to watch fire more when I am in the house, like if there are a lot of people around I watch the fire and tune everyone out and just watch the fire. But I too prefer water, the sound is so calming and relaxing and I like watching as it rolls and ripples and flows.

I like candles like on a candelabra, like Lumiere. I like to watch the flame, and see how the candle gets smaller and the wax melts and like falls down on the sides of the candle and everything.

Doubt I can quantify and compare.

Water - watching the ship's wake and bow wave. Watching the river. Waterfall. Rain IF I am not getting wet and nothing is damaged. Snow and ice melt.

All intriguingly hypnotic.

Fire : Wtching candles - my siblings PLAYED with candles, moving wacx and quenching fire. Pah.
Watching logs in the fireplace or the campfire.Burning the trash in olden tomes when it was a done thing.

All hypnotically intriguing.
