Does anyone know of an online site, or know anyone personally, where I can get some sort of one-to-one diagnosis? I've done the multiple choice tests but feel it would be best to actually communicate with someone about my apparent 'Aspie-ness'. Any ideas? (I'm new to the site, incidentally, hello people.)

Hey Fredrick, welcome to Wrongplanet.

You cannot receive a diagnosis over the internet. While you can of course talk to people on sites such as this one (Wrongplanet is the best Aspie site I have found so far), you will have to see a specialist in order to be diagnosed. The recommended way to move towards getting a diagnosis is to see your regular Doctor and discuss your suspisions with him/her, and then they will refer you to a specialist.

However, first you need to decide whether you want an actual diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome or not. Is it in any way affecting your life or happiness?
