To be honest, I prefer "high functioning autism without a significant speech delay.".... But, i say "asperger's syndrome" when talking about it.

I just say autistic, unless there is some particular reason I need to use the terminology (say with medical professionals).

Asperger's Syndrome, or "AS" if I want something shorter with a neater spelling.

I voted the last category although I could have also voted "Who cares?" or "I use both." Most of the time, I really just use autistic. If I'm talking about what most people call AS, I might call it AS (or whatever) but generally I just call it autism.
