Are aspies good when it comes to working with co-workers on a project that they are passionate about? I ask because I seem to work very well with some other people when it comes to co-writing articles/books or organising conferences. I am usually the person who comes up with a radical idea and steps to implement it, and the others will work with me to implement those steps. It usually works out well when I initiate the ideas.
Do you think this is common among aspies, even in other fields where group projects or some sort of group effort is necessary?
I think we can (and do) work well with others, in the proper venue. If one is passionate about a topic then I think we'd be inclined to share, from my perspective. Although I might not be a leader-type, I do care about a project. I like to organise and I'm detail oriented.
Caveat: I do not play well with certain therapists, but that's another story.....< ahem >
