It may sound a little silly, but I dread making sandwiches.

During high school, sandwich-making every night was a b***h, but it was better than eating school food. I still make sandwiches for myself for work.

What kind of sandwiches are your favorite? I just tried Nutella with bananas, and it's a great combination.

I find it hard to eat a sandwich that I have seen someone else make, which is totally illogical because I will eat them if they arrive already made.

I don't get stressed making sandwiches because I make some variation of a small number of themes every time - but I agree that is tough when the necessary ingredients are missing (full fridge, but nothing for me?!).

I hate sandwiches and I don't eat them, because they stink!

Only if I have to make a whole buttload
of them and they are my favourite but
I cant eat any of them because I slip up
and eat one.

I hate the ritual of having to untie the bread and unwravel it and get the bread out and then wravel everything back up and put it back in the breadbox and getting individual ingredients out and having to put them all back just to make a sandwich, so I generally don't.

However, it WAS stressful for me to make sandwiches when I dated a guy (that I'm now convinced has Asperger's, we still talk now and then, but you'll see why in a minute. . . other than the fact it already runs in his family). He would have me fold each piece of meat in half perfectly on the bread and lay the cheese a certain way (like a diamond?) and put condiments on both sides, spread a certain way, with one condiment on one side and the other on the other. . . oh my god, it was a nightmare. Maybe that's why I have an aversion to sandwiches now. Haha.

Yes, it's awful. THe only sandwich I can stand to make is peanut butter - and even then, it's difficult getting an even layer on the bread. UGH.

Sandwich making requires a lot of different steps, it's understandable someone with executive dysfunction would find it a bit stressful.

this.

I also find it hard to eat them, except occasionally when the spirit to make a really 'special' sandwich strikes. That takes ages, but is delicious. Its occurance is fairly limited. I don't even really like bread, but can eat sandwiches, generally if they're already made, like what StuartN said.

For the most part I don't like sandwiches and won't eat them. Especially if they're made with gross bitter whole wheat bread.
