With drawing, has anyone ever asked you to draw things that weren't in your comfort zone? I'm never thrilled about drawing portraits or landscapes. I'm more stuck into drawing cartoons, mainly from my imagination. How do you feel when you're asked to draw other things? I feel kind of like..but I love drawing from my imagination. Now that I'm older, I'm starting to want to paint landscapes. :D

I've tried painting before, it didn't take. I just don't have the patience.

The only way you'll know is if you try.

No one asks me to draw for them...I simply am not a good artist when it comes to drawing.

I love drawing, it is the one artistic thing that I can do well. I am a very strong visual thinker and this helps me a great deal. In an art class st school, everybody had a tool deposited at the desk they were sitting at and was told to memorise every detail, only to have it taken away after five minutes. At the end of that time, we had to draw the tool from memory. My drawing turned out to be the best and most accurate in the whole class, I even included the "Made in China" label. I think I still have it. It's too bad their too big for my scanner.

Whenever I draw, I like to include every detail I can think of. Realism and being “true to life”” is my goal. I don’t like abstract art much.

I love sculpture, I was never very good at drawing or painting unless I was copying from a photo. I think its because I have difficulty converting something from 3D space onto a 2D page. With sculpture I get to create in 3D space and I think my AS traits give me an advantage.

I never draw for others. Only myself. I can only seem to draw what I see, so I never draw my own characters or fan-art of exsisting characters. Plus I'm a perfectionist, which makes things hard.

I love art. I paint and draw wildlife scenes. It has helped me a lot. I have an art show coming up on February 13th. Then another one on March 21st. I hope it starts my art career. I hope those shows are not a complete failure. Knowing my luck the world will end before those dates and I won't have an art show!

I stick to doing what comes, thinking about it makes a mess, just let it out.

A drawing a day gets it working.

I love drawing. My favorite thing to draw is at anime (I'm especially good at hair and faces).

I really hate taking requests though, because I want people to appreciate my artistic vision and the things that come from my imagination, not theirs.

Yes.

As I child I attended a Saturday art class at a museum and the art instructor wondered why I had such difficulty drawing a cat.

Well, my family never owned a cat.

However, it was far more than that.

Years later I became aware I had constructional apraxia and could normally not see whole objects in my head easily.
