umm.... those links aren't pointing to the videos you mention... which sucks, because I wanted to see them.

It would indeed be disturbing if true. How is this even possible? Who are "Autism Speaks", and why would they demonize autistics the way Nazis demonized Jews?

Hmmm... someone's gonna have to fill me in here - I don't get it. I'm still pretty new to all of this...

Both videos are creepy, that's for sure. I know the history of the Nazis and Jews, but how it relates to autism, and what exactly the autism speaks video is trying to say, I'm at a loss.

Autism Speaks calls itself a charity and claims to try to help autistics. They release propaganda videos where they demonize autism and autistics, including one where a woman said she wanted to commit murder-suicide because her daughter was autistic. They showed a sign saying DEAD END (nice subtle imagery there) and they had a girl saying she wished she didn't have an autistic sibling. Their execs are paid six-figure salaries. Only one is autistic, and he's a very recent addition. The money they don't spend on their salaries goes into research for a prenatal test.

Huh. Wow. Who's funding these people, any idea? And why?

And do they consider Asperger's and HFA to be "autism", or are they only concerned with the other end of the spectrum?

That first video is clearly not by Autism Speaks. Where does it say that it was made by them anyway?

I'm pretty sure it is a video about Autism Speaks. It keeps saying "I am Autism Speaks", and then says something negative. It doesn't say, "I am Autism" and then say something negative. This video is trying to make Autism Speaks look bad.
