Or have you seen it before?

It just came to me that it's a great fidgety toy for fine motor things and such. I've had it for approximately one month now; it really is a nice alternative to poking my fingers with things (like ballpoint pens).

Perhaps you could explain how to make it, or where to get it, or what exactly it is composed of...

My mother came home with it one day. Not sure where she got it from. I do, however, know that an OT gave my teacher one, so I used one a couple of years ago.
I wish I knew what it was called...
Anyways, it seems to be cubic wooden "beads" (lack of a better word) strung on a flexible string, so you can make certain shapes with it and things. In the photograph, I'd already made some sort of shape with it. It is normally in a straight line.

I have it - well, technically it's my mother's that she uses in her classroom for kids who need something to do with their hands. I volunteered in her class one day and just kept playing with it. Since I was going to Russia, she let me take it. It was helpful with getting my mind off of things when I got overwhelmed. (And it amused the security guy who was inspecting my carry on, he pulled it out and played with it for a minute).

I think she got it at Cracker Barrel in their store (the toy section) but I don't have a name for it and I couldn't find it on their website.

I have seen it.

At Cracker Barrel, I believe.
