I have Asperger's but also have a condition called Benign Essential Tremor www.essentialtremorinfo.com I have been reading up on Aspergers and found that it can be caused through a problem with the cerebellum in the brain. As Essential Tremor is also connected with the cerebellum I wondered if anyone else also has a problem with uncontrollable tremor of any part of their body

Am imprecise in putting together plastic models of cars or ships. With model ships, will avoid trying to rig the ship with black thread due to the precise fine motor movements required.

I tend to think that part of the imprecision is due to a slight gitch in the cerebellum, too, which tends to not automatically restrain my attempts at fine motor control. There also may be something going on in the brainstem area also/in part of the 12 pairs of cranial nerves in my case too.

I had full body tremors as a kid. I could not stay in the lines when I colored and as a result, my second grade teacher held up my paper to show the class and told the whole class that I needed to be sent back to kindergarden so I could learn how to color properly.

Since I was 11 I have a head and head tremor and only at 29 when I was pregnant with my first son and my tremors were hormonally aggravated, my gynaecologist send me to a neurologist who called it an inherited essential tremor and I was then prescribed betablockers.
My father has a hand tremor and now at 76 it is very difficult for him to pour coffee or eat soup. Me too, I'll always avoid to eat soup with strangers.
I'm 48 now and a few years ago I discovered I had aspergers just like one of my sons who has an ASD and Tourette.
I also think the conditions ( ASD and Essential Tremor) are not related because my father with the tremor has absolutely no ASD but my mother has certainly traits.
By the way since 1 year I receive every 4 months several botox shots in my neck and then I am practically tremor free for 3 months and I love it because the combination head tremor and ASD is not easy.

Since a young age ive had this issue when it comes to my hands, and i get annoyed to hell when people bring up the shakey hands. For some reason it does get worse when I am concentrating.

Yeah, people always ask me if I'm okay because apparently I'm shaking a little bit. Especially my hands. I don't even notice it though. It's pretty annoying when people bring it up, really.

Just tell them it's a stage 1 zombie virus infection. In a few weeks you'll be wanting to eat their brains.
