Do you hate being the last to know?

(This is why I prefer to watch movies with original screenplays.)

For example, whenever I see a preview of a movie I might like (take "The Golden Compass", "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and "Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker" for examples.) I look up the info on Wikipedia and that's when I found out that the movie is either a remake, sequel, or based off a book series, old TV shows, comic books, and video games I'm not familiar with. Also, some people "tease" me because of that.

Anyone else had similar stories?

Not bothered about it. If I read a book and then watched the film, I am usually disappointed with the adaption especially if I had enjoyed the book.

i would have to wait until the end of time to be sure i was the last to know.

i do not have that much time so it is not of any consequence to me.
there is an infinite amount of things i do not know, but they exist even without my knowledge of them, so even if i never thought a single thing, all would be as it is right now.

if i was never born, then the universe would still be as it is right now.
