Like it isn't hard enough already. This is the headline I woke up to this morning: "Stress, we can! New Yorkers are the most on edge in America, new survey reveals." I make such brilliant life decisions. :?

Who wants to know this stuff? You -- to make you feel better about not being me? Me -- to make me feel worse about not being you?

Don't get it...

Weird... when I was in New York, people seemed nice and not all wound up. Come to San Francisco and people are high strung and tense - especially in the Financial District.

Can you really be surprised? It is the city that never sleeps and they say sleep is good for reducing stress. I find stress relief in an open field where I can see many stars and no people.

I lived in NYC for 10 years and people were generally pretty relaxed. You have to let lots of stuff go living in that kind of density - like not being bothered if a stranger bumps into you. I found New Yorkers to be as kind as people anywhere. Personally, however my OCD became much, much worse and i had to move away for my mental health. That town robbed me of a certain vitality because everything's harder there.
