^ I should've added those above two in the "obvious" category as well.

However I still dont believe they're not as Autistic as we are inclined to believe.

I don't know for Steve Jobs. One one side, his obsession with details on Apple products can be seen as a special interest. He was ousted from Apple the first time because of his vision, he looks more obsessive-compulsive like Tesla.

The facebook guy, I don't know him. I see him as a nerd in the right place the right time :duh:

I am much more convinced by the co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak. You can almost "feel" it, when he talks about his passion of electronics and building the first computer in this incredible interview:

Confirmed AS? Not likely. Guys I've met who probably have it include Anthony Barr (SAS Institute) and T. Boone Pickens. Zuckerberg and Cohen both have claimed to have it. I'd bet at least 1/3rd if not 1/2 of the McKinsey consultants I've met have it.

These days I'm a quant at an investment banking advisory shop. A large proportion of the geeks and quants in Banking are either geniuses with social disorders, or aspies. Most of us never aspire to be a CEO, too social. But backing up a CEO by being the CFO, CIO or COO, that's an ok job as long as we stay out of the spotlight.

Warren Buffett is, I think, almost definitely aspie. Once you read about his life, and how he can NOT tolerate ANY differences in his diet, and needs his wife to get ready in the morning, but is this awesome financial genius, he's almost like a savant. He's also said that it's fortunate for him that stock investing doesn't require calculus, so he may have dyscalculia too, like me, I couldn't handle anything from algebra on up, and missed out on educational opportunities because of it.

It'd be so awesome if the word's most successful investor has dyscalculia.

Ages ago, I actually found an article on Buffett where it explained how he was obsessed with toy trains as a kid etc, but I haven't been able to find it since :?

Steve Wozniak makes a lot of sense, too, if his autobiography is anything to go by. He taught himself boolean algebra in elementary school and was absolutely obsessed with computers. Remember that this was way before they were popular, too.
