Strange message in my inbox - Hi Dear

I have had a couple of odd messages posted to my inbox on this site. The title says "Hi Dear" and its from a girl asking me to email her and she says after reading my profile she likes me. I have not got anything written on my profile!!?? Anyway I just deleted it because I thought it is a scam. Anyone else get them.?

Yes, that happens. You can also report things like this to the mods so they can investigate the account.

I've received many of these. They're from pornifauxs as I like to call them. They don't exist. On myspace I've received many friend request from girls like this. there is like different girls who have the same exact profile photo.

They often have poor spelling too. Like ghosts. If you've ever used a Ouija board you'll know that ghosts have very poor spelling.

Please report such PMs. Quote the entire PM in the moderator attention thread in the WP discussion forum and we will ban the sender immediately; hopefully before they send the same scam message to lots of other members. Alternatively just forward the PM on to a mod.
