I am going to have do this in 4 parts because I can only add one poll per topic.

There are many threads on the MBTI, but I haven't seen to have found one, or at least a recent on that only analyses (sp?) the specific functions

On the MBTI test, what do you score?

If you have not taken the MBTI test, here it is?

Introverted to the point where even my teachers noticed that I don't care for socializing and they mentioned it. How about you folks?

introvert

Throughout my life I have been described by many people(teachers and others) as "aloof".

MBTI = Myers-Briggs Temperament Indicator

It was recently announced that Myers & Briggs are mother & daughter. They had to hide that in order to be published.
They based their work on the work of Carl Jung, who emphasized that no one can be defined, but that communication about personalities would be easier.

These are spectrums (spectra?) -
Introvert-Extravert
iNtuitive-Sensate
Feeling (in the sense of Values)-Thinking
Perceptive-Judgement (today we would say Decisive)

For example, I am INFP
introvert, intuitive, feeling, perceptive.

Some people feel that defining personalities is wrong in some way. But it had a good effect on the relationship between me and my brother. I found his type in the MBTI. I was astonished! You mean, he's not weird or something? He's just a different type of person, and he's allowed to be? Yes - imagine that. We get along better since then.

Introvert.

I am one of those who think that 4 letters are not enough to describe a personality and I have seen people who have undefined types but I still think that this one is more accurate than most tests I have seen, especially on the definition of introvert / extrovert.

By the way, the definition given on this site is not really the one I have read before.

Quote:
# Extraverts are action oriented, while introverts are thought oriented.
# Extraverts seek breadth of knowledge and influence, while introverts seek depth of knowledge and influence.
# Extraverts often prefer more frequent interaction, while introverts prefer more substantial interaction.
# Extraverts recharge and get their energy from spending time with people, while introverts recharge and get their energy from spending time alone

I think the last one is important because some people look introverts for some reasons but are extrovert and the contrary exists too.

(wikipedia).

I am 100% introvert

I'm a bit of both, but I lose energy around people so I'm more of an Introvert. I'm usually on my own and don't mind it but I can be active and social.

I didn't do this test, but then again no test is necessary to tell me that I'm introvertet. That's as clear as daylight. I don't know any person in the world that would claim otherwise.
