What music do aspies like. I have found a lot of people on the spectrum like a really broad range of different types of music.

What are your favourites.

If you had asked about 6 months ago I'd have said metal. I still like metal but country makes me happier these days.

Bluegrassy country or more pop country or classic country? The metal to country conversion is interesting so more data is needed. Ralph Stanley vs Garth Brooks vs Patsy Cline? Who wins?

Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Frankie Ballard, Neal McCoy, Jaron and the Long Road to Love, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, and Johnny Rebel.

Though I've always liked some Countryish music. Shania Twain (and Creed) has been a nearly lifelong love. Pantera is one of my favorite metal bands, etc. I just never liked anything that really cut into Country. I like songs about substance abuse, sex, being better than everyone else, etc. Not songs about trucks not starting, dogs dying and women getting divorces.

I like tunes that have a lot of repedative notes Say like five or six notes that repeat
thoughout the song. AC/DC is my favorite band.
I also like guitar riffs like the opening of Long cool woman in a black dress
acually there are many cool riffs I like
like in Guitar Town and Sweet Caroline.

I am really broad minded with music.

I like anything from 70s-80s and modern rock, country, finger style guitar, to folk and classical, particularly violin.
So long as it is good music.

just about any music recorded since the dawn of recorded sound, up until the mid-80s or so. it [the industry] lost me after that, with very few exceptions. no rap/hiphop. modern sound production techniques are atrociously misused.

I like old 1980's rock music. It reminds me of when I was younger.

I like any kind of music that creates a lot of mood or atmosphere. I'm not a musical luddite. Modern sound production can be used creatively and with great effect. You just have to stay away from top 40.

Rap, hiphop and techno don't seem to fit the music category some how anyway.
